School Rules

School Rules

  The students are supposed to reach the school 5 minutes before the school starts.

The students should converse in English only in the school premises.

Students should maintain discipline and observe good manners.

Criticism of the teacher or school in the presence of a child should be scrupulously avoided.

Every child should take proper care of the school property. Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the Class Teacher/Principal.

Costly things are not allowed to be brought to the school.

Every student should take care of the private property. Money should not be lent or borrowed.  The school is not responsible for the goods lost.

Students suffering from any contagious disease will not be allowed to continue classes until he/she recovers from it.

Bicycles must be properly locked and kept in the cycle stand.

Students should actively participate in various activities.

Every student should carry his/her school diary to school each day.

The warning bell before a class or assembly is a signal for all to go to the assembly or to their respective class room. This should be done in silence. Changing of class rooms during periods should be done in silence and in an orderly manner.

Students should be very neatly dressed. The school uniform should be worn on all working days. No relaxation is acceptable in this regard. GENERAL TURN OUT OF STUDENT WILL BE CHECKED DURING ASSEMBLY OR AT ANY TIME DURING THEIR STAY IN THE SCHOOL BY THE STAFF OR BY THE STUDENT PREFECTS and defaulters will be punished and fined.

Shouting, whistling and running in corridors is strictly prohibited.

The students should bring tiffin, napkin and handkerchief daily. (in lower classes).

Students will not be permitted to leave the school during the school hours.

The School reserves  right, to terminate the schooling of students for unsatisfactory progress in studies or whose conduct is a bad percept for others.

Students should attend festivals and functions celebrated in the school.

PARENTS SHOULD CO-OPERATE THE SCHOOL IN ITS ATTEMPT TO HELP THEIR CHILDREN PROGRESS PAYING ATTENTION TO THEIR PUNCTUALITY, REGULARITY AND DISCIPLINE. THEY SHOULD TAKE INTEREST IN THEIR CHILD'STUDIES & OTHER ACTIVITIES.
 

 
RULES IN CASE OF ABSENCE

(All students to follow daily routine strictly)
NO APPLICATION ON PAGE WILL BE ENTERTAINED

 

Provision of half day leave is expunged, but in an emergency, request can be considered for genuine reasons. Any type of leave will however be granted on the written request of authorised signatory via the School Diary. Leave will be granted    only for serious illness, death of near and dear ones, natural calamity, marriage of real brother/sister, aunty, uncle    (mother's or father's brother or sister), any other convincing reason.

No leave will be entertained during Weekly Tests, Oral Exams or Examination, except in medical cases. LEAVE CRITERIA FOR      STUDENTS OF BOARD CLASSES WILL BE DIFFERENT.

Those who come late or remain absent on the previous day must bring a note in the designated Leave Record Page in the School Diary only, giving reason for late coming or being absent duly signed by authorised signatory.

A pupil who is found to be habitually absent without any bona-fide reason or any explanation from parents or guardians is able to have, his/her name struck off from the roll of the school register and information will be passed on to the parents/guardians.

Name of the student will be struck off from the roll if he/she is absent continuously for a period of three days or more    without any information or permission and re-admission procedure will be followed, with the charging of fees on joining. 

A student must not leave the school during the working hours without Gate-Pass.

Leave during examination will be granted only in case of serious illness of the student or death of a very near relative.

Short leave will not be granted on any ground.

If the child remains absent for three subsequent days, parent must accompany the child and meet the principal to continue his/her studies.

Absence during the term is not in the best interest of the student.They are asked not to apply for leave, if avoidable.However leave can be granted on the basis of serious illness, death of nearest, marriage of real brother, sister etc.

SCHOLARSHIP & CONCESSION

Scholarship upto Rs. 10 Lacs per Annum

Classes XI & XII : Students securing 90% or above marks in Class-X CBSE/ ICSE will be awarded Rs.15,000/- p.a.This scholarship will be continued in Class-XII provided they secure 80% marks (min.) in Class-XI.

Students securing 85% or above marks in Class-X CBSE/ICSE will be awarded Rs. 10,000/- p.a. Scholarship. This scholarship will be continued in Class-XII provided they secure 80%  marks (min.) in Class-XI.

First 10 students securing 80% or above marks in Class-X CBSE/ICSE will be awarded Rs. 5,000/- p.a. Scholarship. This scholarship will be continued in Class-XII provided they secure 80%  marks (min.) in Class-XI.
All the students of state board securing 85% marks (excluding practicals) shall also be entitled for scholarship of Rs. 5000/-.

Classes  IX & X  : Students who have secured 1st three positions in the previous class (not in section) in KPS examination will be awarded scholarship of Rs. 5,000/- p.a. for that session only.

Classes VI to VIII : Students who have secured 1st three position in the previous class (not in section) in KPS examination will be awarded scholarship of Rs. 4,000/- p.a. for that session only. 90% Attendance is compulsory for being eligible for receiving Scholarship.
NOTE
 90% Attendance is compulsory for being eligible for receiving Scholarship in all the above mentioned classes.
If the performance in half yearly is less than 75% in theory papers scholarship can be cancelled or amount can be reduced.
For Class XI scholarship test also will be conducted in the month  of July. Test will be conducted in G. Sc. & Maths on the course based on Class X.
PUNISHMENTS 

For classes I to VIII a fine of Rs. 30/- per day on regular days will be imposed if the student remains absent without  application and  genuine cause.

For Classes IX to XII a fine of Rs. 50/- per day on regular days and Rs. 100/- per weekly test will be imposed if the  student remains absent without application and genuine cause.

A fine of Rs. 100/- per day will be imposed if the student remains absent on the reopening day ( after summer / pooja holidays / Raksha Bandhan / Diwali) and being absent after three subsequent days the name will be struck off which can be  readmitted after due permission of the Principal by paying readmission fees of Rs. 1000/-.

The student will be awarded zero if he/she does not appear in test on any ground.

Students reporting late will be penalised with Rs. 20/- per day. They may also be sent back home.
The Scholarship shall be distributed on the day of annual celebration.
 
* All above cases shall be valid only if student qualify scholarship test.
